We hear it all the time at the 1937 Steiner Log Church…“This would be a perfect place for a wedding!”  We agree, and we’d be happy to host your special day in this unique piece of Oregon history tucked amongst a wonderful forest setting.

We’ve partnered with the Alpine Events Center and Busy Bee Catering to offer the following…

  1. Hold a small wedding at the 1937 Steiner Log Church

  2. Travel 10 minutes east to the nearby Alpine Events Center for your reception. (AlpineEventsMtHood.com)

Note that the 1937 Steiner Log Church is a registered historic location, and as such it requires visitors to adhere to a set of rules and requirements to help protect and preserve this unique Oregon treasure, including a limit on the number of guests and cars, electric candles only, no fireworks, no high heels, and other protective restrictions.  We apologize, but being built in 1937, the building is largely non-ADA compliant. While the rules limit certain activities, we are happy to help you create your perfect wedding day. Please contact Mike Gudge via this website for a full list of requirements.
